A piece of paper can be laid flat to form a bridge between two plies of books, (A). It can also be bent to form an arch between two books (B)

We can then add some weight to the bridge such as a coin to see which is stronger.

In lesson ‘ruler’, we learnt that Sacred Geometry is formed from straight and curved lines. Notice, that when a flat surface is curved it becomes much stronger.

The more space that exists between two points the stronger (thicker) the bridge needs to be to hold the same weight. Try the same experiment using more sheets of paper and see how the gap can be increased.
