Conclusion

Conclusion

Besides the essentials for 2D drawing, we want to mention a couple of other materials you might need for 3D modeling, to perform some scientific experiments or understand the relations to music. You will only need it for courses where we specifically name them, otherwise you’ll be fine with the basic drawing set.

3D Models

For 3D modeling, it is important that we have paper card and some glue. To build just the frame of a model, we can use a few straws, pipe cleaners and a glue gun.

Experiments

There are a few experiments that you can perform at home to understand the structure of light. For example, with a pair of polarizes sunglassed, a laser or phone, you will see what interesting effects you can create.

Music

The laws of music can be best expressed if you actually have an instrument at hand. We find that there are interesting links between sound, rythm and geometry.
